I used the computer a little for noise generation, but it was mostly analog. I took a break for a while, and when I came back I had gotten my mac. I started sampling past field recordings using live edit software, as well as analog stuff such as mixers, bass guitars, and distortion pedals. Now I use a good mix of things ... How you do it?
